Phenomenon transgenders are coming in Malaysian. When the media exposure about Fatine Young's immigration dilemma, questions have arisen on whether our society can accept transgenders. Fatine Young have an experience of when married a British man and is about to be deported to Malaysian for overstaying. If in western transgenders not issue, all of them can married but not in Malaysian. Marry with same gender not allow in our society. In Malaysian, perception society about transgenders is that the lead an immoral life, because the transgenders not suitable with our cultural.

Very hard for trangender to survive in Malaysia because our country have our norm.We are not like western that they don't have norm because they can do all the thing they like .I said that because we can see in western there are a bad social culture. For example, having child before they get married, lesbian, gay, and also highest for criminal. If transgender can survive in Malaysia ,there are only certain-certain case that we cannot see.

Transgender people can survive in Malaysia but difficult because our country have our own law about this problem especially based on our religous 'Islam' as a official religous in Malaysia. This is because in Islam and as a Islamic person we can't be transgender people even dressed the opposite sex. As we know, before this Majlis Agama Islam in our country want to discharge a new law or 'fatwa' about transgender in our country. This new law or 'fatwa' means our leaders want to get rid of transgender culture in Malaysia. Beside that, not all Malaysian can accept transgender people in their society. As example, in Kenya they religous extremism don't accept transgender people in they county. Transgender people in Kenya cannot access gender-reassigment therapy in they public hospitals because of relagious extremism. However, today we can see transgender people can survive in Malaysia if they don't do anything wrong in our country.

Transgender actually is cannot survive in Malaysia country this is because in society and our government in Malaysia cannot really accept yet the transgender. But, now we can see there are several people in Malaysia change their gender even get opposition from certain parties. Besides, the thing about country Malaysia, transgender has no provision in the law . So, this is very difficult to transgender people to make all things in their live in Malaysia. For example when they want to buy insurance, the company that sells insurans cannot accept their application because they have the status of gender is not clear.

  3. Transgender people can survive if they don't get bullied by their community and families. They need to have access to jobs, hospitals, clinics, insurance, and everything every normal people needs. I don't think any trans people want to resort to sex work if they have the choice but the problem is that people do not want to accept them. They live their lives, do their own things. They don't cause trouble if no one picks on them. The police, JAKIM and some authorities like to make fun of them, purposely stop them, make their life difficult because they don't conform to regular gender identity. They don't conform because that is what they are. The problem is that our society can get judgmental, especially the muslims. What if they are your sister, daughter, cousin? Would you not want to accept them?
